Here’s a few Aussie lamb dishes we spotted on social media that had our mouths watering.
Black Tap Burgers – New York City, NY
The Greg Norman (pictured right)
Australian wagyu beef, house buttermilk-dill, blue cheese and arugula.
The #1 burger in all of New York City, two years running! Good onya chef!
Elia Restaurant – Brooklyn, NY
We have no idea how to pronounce this, but a phyllo pie of spinach and greens sounds #aussome next to some Aussie lamb chops. #itsallgreektous Paidakia Skaras - grilled Australian lamb chops, thick cut fries, hortopita.
Australian Lamb Chops with rosemary demi-glace - a seriously
flavorful dish for a “comedy Monday” at this Bronx spot.
Suon Cuu Nuong - coriander crusted, grilled Australian lamb chops served with a creamy mint sauce and stir-fried chinese broccoli.
Wow! This dish would be right at home in Oz. We love authentic Asian flavors with our lamb.
Extra points for presentation to Bistro 60 in La Quinta, CA
for their Aussie Rack of Lamb. Impressive!
Leave it to Wolfgang Puck to feature a full spread of the best steaks from around the world. We’re proud to have two on his list!
Australian 100% Grassfed Angus Filet Mignon, and Australian Wagyu New York Sirloin.
This food truck’s “Chef Meatloaf,” made with ground angus beef and halal Australian lamb, looks as good as it sounds. We gotta get to Portland!
Just Restaurant – Old Bridge, New Jersey
Australian Lamb Chops with avocado fries, sautéed spinach and baby carrots with a garlic lamb demi-glace.
We love this one for all the obvious reasons (the lamb, mate!) but also for creative use of veggies, especially the Avos.
